Why we use your data

We use the details submitted in the quote-request form to receive and handle your request, contact you, answer your questions and, where you initiate it, take steps before entering into a contract. We do not use these details for newsletters or other marketing.

Data we process

We process the data you provide directly:

• name, email address, phone number and project location;
• project and property type, dimensions, budget, timing, contact preference and information in your message;
• the submission time, form language and the time you acknowledged this notice;
• a salted cryptographic hash of an IP identifier used to prevent abuse. We do not store the raw IP address for this purpose.

Legal basis

The legal basis for handling your quote request and contacting you is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract. Limited technical processing to prevent abuse and keep the service secure is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure operation of the website and form.

Recipients and transfers

Only authorised persons at FáBa Tető can access the data. Hosting, email and IT service providers acting on our behalf may process data only as necessary to provide their service and under our instructions.

If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is made subject to appropriate safeguards. Further information is available on request.

Retention

We retain quote requests and related data for no more than 12 months after the matter is closed. We retain data longer only where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Required fields and automated decisions

Your name, email address, phone number, project location and type of work are needed to handle a quote request. Without them, we cannot receive the request or contact you. We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.

Your rights

You may request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Send requests to the email address above; we may ask for additional information where necessary to confirm your identity.

Complaints and changes

If you believe that processing infringes your rights, you may complain to the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information or take legal action. We may update this notice when necessary; the current version is always available on this page.
